Water and electricity costs are included up to 50 euros per month. To book the rental property, a deposit and an agent’s commission (+ 7% IGIC) must be paid. The commission is usually equivalent to one month’s rent plus the corresponding IGIC. For rentals of up to 11 months, the commission is paid by the tenant; from 12 months onward, by the owner.
As for the deposit, at the end of the lease, if the property is returned in the same condition it was handed over in, the deposit will be refunded in full to the tenant. The deposit is usually equivalent to one month’s rent.
