The area:
San Agustín is a very well-known tourist area in Gran Canaria. All its visitors end up turning this coastal town into their home for a while. It has several shopping centres, shops, restaurants and leisure and sports facilities. It also has pharmacies and a hospital.
It has a very good connection to the motorway. You can walk to Playa del Inglés in 10 minutes. San Fernando, Sonneland and El Tablero are less than 10 minutes away by car and also have numerous shops and restaurants.

Water and electricity costs are included up to 100 euros per month. To reserve the rental property, a deposit and an agency commission (+ 7% IGIC) must be paid. The commission is normally equivalent to one month’s rent plus the corresponding IGIC. For rentals of up to 11 months, the commission is paid by the tenant; from 12 months onwards, by the owner.
Regarding the deposit, at the end of the lease agreement, if the property is returned in the same condition it was handed over in, the deposit will be refunded in full to the tenant. The deposit is normally equivalent to one month’s rent.
